The Measures for the Registration of Copyright Pledge were promulgated in 2010 and entered into force on 1 Jan. 2011.

  1. The National Copyright Administration is responsible for the registration of copyright pledge.

  2. The property rights in copyright and rights related thereto can be pledged.

  3. If the copyright is pledged, the pledgor and the pledgee shall conclude a written pledge contract, and both parties shall jointly register the copyright pledge with the registration authority.
