The Notice on the Registration of Contracts for Publishing Overseas Audio-visual Products was promulgated in 1995 and entered into force on 1 Feb. 1995.

There are 12 articles in total, which aim to specify that audio-visual publishers who publish overseas audio-visual products (including those from foreign countries and Hong Kong S.A.R., Macao S.A.R. and Taiwan region) shall file the publishing contract with the National Copyright Administration for registration.
