The Administrative Measures for Trademark Printing were promulgated on 19 Aug. 2004 and entered into force on 1 Sept. 2004.

There are 16 articles in total, which aim to supervise the printing and production of trademark signs, so as to protect the exclusive use right of registered trademarks.

The key points are as follows:

  1. Where a client entrusts a printer to print a trademark, they shall present their identity certificate and the trademark registration certificate.

  2. The printer shall check the supporting documents and the trademark drawings provided by the client.
