The Action Plan on the Development of Intelligent Ships (2019-2021) was issued on 27 Dec. 2018.

The Plan is divided into 4 parts, which aim to achieve the following goals in 3 years: (1) develop a top-level plan for the development of intelligent ships in China; (2) initially establish a standard system for intelligent ships; (3) make breakthrough technologies in several fields; (4) realize trials and demos of typical scenarios; (5) keep China’s intelligent ships development in step with the world’s advanced level.
