The Guiding Opinions on Improving the “Internet +” Medical Service Price and Medical Insurance Payment Policy were issued on 17 Aug. 2019.

The Opinions are divided into 5 parts, which aim to achieve the following goals through Internet technologies: (1) cross-region flow of quality medical resources; (2) reduce the cost of medical services and improve their efficiency; (3) improve the fairness and accessibility of medical resources; (4) improve the medical treatment experience of patients; (5) reshape the competition in the medical market.
