The Notice on Protecting the Mental and Physical Health of Minors and Implementing the Anti-addiction System of Online Games entered into force on 12 Mar. 2007.

The Notice aims to require online game operating enterprises to develop and set up anti-addiction systems of online games strictly in line with the Online Game Anti-Addiction System Development Standards promulgated by the regulatory authorities, and verify the real identity of users in accordance with the Plan on Real-Name Verification of Online Game Anti-addition System promulgated by the regulatory authorities, in order to implement the system for the minors.
