The Interim Measures for Seven-Day Unconditional Return of Products Purchased Online entered into force on 15 Mar. 2017.

There are 39 articles in total, which aim to urge online sellers to fulfill the obligation of 7-day no reason return. The key points are as follows:

  1. The products purchased through the Internet for daily consumption may be returned within seven days upon receipt of the products pursuant to Article 25 of the Law on the Protection of Consumer’s Rights and Interests.
  2. Providers of the online trading platform shall guide, supervise and urge the online sellers on the platform to fulfill the obligation of 7-day no reason return.
