The Several Provisions of the State Council on Online Government Services entered into force on 26 Apr. 2019.

There are 16 articles in total, which aim to promote the establishment of China’s national integrated online government service platform (hereinafter the “Integrated Online Platform”). The key points are as follows:

  1. The Integrated Online Platform consists of the national government service platform, the government service platform of relevant departments of the State Council and local government service platforms.
  2. The Chinese government will promote cross-region, cross-department and cross-level data sharing and business collaboration in government services.
