10 Million E-filings in Chinese Courts in 2021

On 13 Oct. 2022, the Supreme People’s Court reported on its website that 11,439,000 cases were e-filed with Chinese courts in 2021.

As of September 2022, all courts in China, more than 90,000 mediation organizations, and 350,000 mediators had settled in the court’s mediation platform, jointly providing online mediation for the parties involved.

Up to the same time aforesaid, the total number of trials livestreamed on China Trials Online had reached more than 20 million, with over 50 billion visits; besides, over 130 million judgments had been published on China Judgments Online, which had been visited more than 90 billion times.
