In February 2022, the Supreme People’s Court issued the “Decision to Amend the Interpretation of China’s Supreme People’s Court on Several Issues Concerning Specific Application of Law in the Trial of Illegal Fund-raising Criminal Cases” (关于修改<最高人民法院关于审理非法集资刑事案件具体应用法律若干问题的解释>的决定), which clarifies that any person who conducts fundraising regarding online loans, virtual currency trading, and senior care services may commit a crime.

In March 2022, the Supreme People’s Court issued the “Arrangement Concerning Mutual Assistance in Court-ordered Interim Measures in Aid of Arbitral Proceedings by the Courts of the Mainland and of the Macao Special Administrative Region” (关于内地与澳门特别行政区就仲裁程序相互协助保全的安排) came into effect, which facilitates mutual assistance in court-ordered interim measures.
